Layover options: same flying times but is it better to be in air or at the airport? I’m looking at return flights from Tokyo to Little Rock, AR (both United) and my options are: 1. 16 hrs 42 min that goes NRT- LAX <1 hr 14 min layover> - IAH <1 hr layover> - LIT 2. 17 hours 12 min NRT - IAH <4 hr layover> - LIT Option 1 is 30 minutes shorter and only about $60 cheaper so price isn’t a factor.
