LPT: If your dog eats something which could cause damage, feed them spinach. A few years ago our Labrador chewed and ate a metal tube which contained fish paste. After examining her the emergency vet suggested we continued to monitor her and feed her spinach for 24hrs afterwards. A few days later she passed some nasty pieces of metal which were safely wrapped in spinach. The spinach is fibrous and doesn't get broken down...
