Why is there so much time in between seasons of TV shows now?
Why is there so much time in between seasons of TV shows now? I remember pre-streaming when there would be 24 new episodes of a show every year, with less than a year between the end of one season and the start of the next. The show Lost is the first example that comes to mind. Now most shows are only 10 episodes or so and we have to wait 2-3 years in between seasons. What takes so long now?
