How much do I need to earn to live alone? I know this is variable due to region, but I live in the midwest and studios/1 bdr apts go from $1k to $1.5k depending on how safe the area is. I graduated college 2 years ago and have ~$45k across HYSA and bonds, plus $4k in HSA and I've been contributing 6% w/7% match into my 401k since starting full time work. I have no debt or car loans.
