Dad lost job at 64. What's next? Dad lost his long-time job the other day. He is 64 and 7 months. He lives in NW Indiana. It sounds like his severance will pay for a few more months but he will lose his insurance at the end of the month. He didn't have much saved and doesn't sound like he was prepared for retirement. He has less than $100k in 401k. Only debt is $7k in cc debt....
