Amazed there are no direct flights from New York to Rio de Janiero. How come? Perhaps I have missed them - I see a ton to Sao Paolo and understand that's a more business-minded city, but no non-stops to Rio or Brasilia. I guess it surprises me when I think about the fact that Buenos Aires has two non-stop options with Aerolinas Argentinas and American and that city seems further away. I know very little about South Americ...
