Are these just 'fake' jobs? I work for 2 hotels doing banquets, if you are familiar. Now the way banquets work is, you are on-call while there are people who have been there for like 10+ years and have a bit more of consistent work, being given priority. There are weeks where I have hours and other weeks with 0 hours. I don't get how my coworkers survive off this lifestyl...
