Signed an offer letter for a new job, quit my current job, then had the new offer rescinded 1 week prior to starting. Eligible for unemployment or not? Shitty situation... apparently the new company somehow just realized they didn't have the budget. Looks like I may be able to get 1-2 months severance from them, but am still waiting on the details. As I start up my job search, would I be eligible to collect unemployment in the meantime? I was guessing no, but am not sure
