very dumb question... rolling over 401k to another 401k I got a new job and decided to rollover my old 401k account to my new 401k account Submitted a rollover request in Fidelity... it looks like my old 401k stocks are being sold and will be transferred to my current 401k. Is this realized gain going to be taxed?
