LPT: If a wasp is attacking your food, offer it a small piece to fly away with. I've noticed that they really really like meat, and they will NOT back down until they get something. I just gave a wasp some chicken empanada innards and it flew away with all of it (I gave it enough for like half of its body weight, it was very impressive). It didn't come back!
