Does making additional mortgage payments have more impact earlier?
Does making additional mortgage payments have more impact earlier? I cannot figure out what to Google to find the answer to this simple question: Suppose I have $1000 and can make an extra mortgage payment to principal. If I make it this month, will it save me more over the course of the mortgage than if I make it next month? Edit: Thank you all!
