citibank closed my mom's credit card because my dad died. is this legal? My mom called citibank after my dad died and upon hearing he had passed, they immediately closed their account and refused to hear anything my mom said. She lost her entire credit line and had to apply for new ones. I'm baffled. Is this actually legal??
