Should I max out my 401k even if it’s a bad one?
Should I max out my 401k even if it’s a bad one? My company uses American Funds Capital Group for our 401k which I come to find out is not that good. I have a 3% match which I always make sure to meet. Should I keep the extra (10%) money that would go in 401k in my paycheck and invest it myself or eat up the fees, service charges and max it out?
