Can I put a lump sum into a HSA and instantly reimburse myself to get a 'discount'? Hi, I recently paid around $3k in dental costs out of pocket. I have a HSA that I do not use and has $0 in it. Is it possible for me to put $3k into the HSA from my checking account, then reimburse straight away for the dental expenses?
