Debt collector has been trying to collect from me since 2009, limitations in Indiana is 6 years. How do I handle this?
Debt collector has been trying to collect from me since 2009, limitations in Indiana is 6 years. How do I handle this? I believe it’s from when I had my first apartment, broke the lease because it was a crap place to live in, never kept up with maintenance or anything. I owe like 2.4K from interest collected but they keep wanting me to pay half of it off. Recently looked at limitations Indiana and it’s only 6 years. What are my options? Edit: anyway to remove it...
