LPT Request: how to manually empty your washing machine drain without getting water all over the floor This might be UK specific but why on earth is the drain opening so close to the floor? Everything I’ve searched says to open the drain and let the water pour out into a bowl or something then dump the bowl and repeat, but the drain is SO CLOSE TO THE FLOOR I can’t fit anything under it! Is there something I’m missing? Why is it designed this way...
