Dad owes around 25k to collections, I’m trying to get him to settle as some companies are suing him but his CPA is telling him not to. His CPA says my father shouldn’t pay as he has no income and is on disability. His suggestion is to wait for the 7 year mark and it will fall off his report. I’m telling him to settle and (I’ll)pay.
