How can I better avoid highlight blowouts when shooting backlit images? Hello! So I’ve seen some beautiful backlit photos taken outdoors. Should I be exposing for the highlights? Is it more of a positioning thing? I just don’t want to have grainy subjects if I expose for the sky. I shoot in raw so I can save the most data possible in each photo. Thanks all!
