Am I wrong in my understanding of Roth vs Traditional IRAs? Wouldn't they be pretty much identical if your tax bracket never changed? I got into an argument with my whole family because their explanation of why a Roth IRA is better doesn't make sense to me. They kept saying that you would rather it be taxed on the way in because it's less money which means less total dollars of tax (assuming growth of IRA account over time).
