How to pay for things in Japan? Hi, my family is taking our first trip to East Asia next year by going to Japan. Never been. Anyway, I had heard both that American credit cards might not work there AND that they use cash a lot? What is the truth? What's the best way to pay for things on a trip to Japan (we will be there 10 days).
