Father passed away last week, his landlord is insistent that we owe his utility expenses for August, looking for advice? So my father spent the entirety of August with the exception of his final day in the hospital, and he passed last Wednesday. His landlords are now contacting us informing us that we need to pay $360 for his utilities in August, plus a fee to clean the house and paint their walls. Would we actually owe any of that for him?
