Did you know that in the first episode of the 1970's show the Jeffersons, George Jefferson literally says the N word. I couldn't believe it. I was just watching it. It is actually pretty funny, but in 2023 there is no way this would ever be allowed on TV. Ever. Kind of makes me wonder if we are moving in the wrong direction with what is acceptable for television.
