My wife accidentally withdrew $5000 from her RothIRA into her checking account. Is there any way to avoid penalty/fees? she is in her mid 20s. we are located in North Carolina if that matters. can she just deposit the money back into the Roth IRA account to avoid any penalty and fees? edit: She only withdrew $5000 of uninvested cash, and she contributed the maximum for 2023.
