I was gifted about 11000 USD, how do I invest this the smart way? As the title says, my wife and I revently got gifted a very generous amount of money. She wants to just let it sit in the bank, but I am saying lets invest it for our future. We do not know the first thing about investing, so What are some smart, safe ways to invest this money?
