I hope it isn’t too much of a stupid question – but why is it that camera constructors will say their battery is rated for ~400-500 shutter actuations on a charge but I can get well over 1000 with battery life to spare?

I hope it isn't too much of a stupid question - but why is it that camera constructors will say their battery is rated for ~400-500 shutter actuations on a charge but I can get well over 1000 with battery life to spare? I use my Fuji X-H2 extensively for event photography at work, and I'm getting close to 2000 RAW files before I need to swap batteries.
