$800 bill for forced (by police) ambulance ride to hospital I was having a mental health situation and 911 was called to my home. Police and ambulance showed up. Although I tried my hardest to decline the ambulance or going to the hospital, I was told I had to go willingly or they would have to put me in handcuffs. I was not permitted to drive myself either.
