I’m a dual USA + NZ citizen; USA resident. I have travel planned for Albania, England, and Germany. Is there any reason /not/ to use my USA passport?
I'm a dual USA + NZ citizen; USA resident. I have travel planned for Albania, England, and Germany. Is there any reason /not/ to use my USA passport? I think it makes the most sense to be using the passport of my place of residence which I can imagine avoiding weirdness around my home address not matching my passport country, and honestly that the USA international apparatus (embassies etc.) is far more robust than NZ's. That being said, am I missing any obvious reasons to use my NZ passport ...
