Is it fauxpa to cut a $10,000 rug smaller to fit in new house I bought a rug for around $10,000 5 years ago… now I just buy on Rugs USA… because you can interchange them or donate them etc. But this rug I’ve had is in perfect condition and I can’t accept getting rid of it or selling it for such a low price but I need it to fit in my smaller home.
