Homemade Bao Buns w/ Fried Spam + Basted Eggs Lot of differing meanings for basted eggs but the way I make them is I pan fry eggs until they are really crispy on the bottom, then I put some water in the pan and immediately cover it. The steam cooks the top and yolk leaving them soft and runny but I still have the crispiness of the bottom. Best of both worlds.
