Should I pay off my student loan balance when the interest starts accumulating again in September? I have a federal student loan balance of $9,700 and savings of around $36,000, so I can afford it. I truly don't think student loan forgiveness will happen anytime soon and even if it does it sounds like there will be some provision in some form for people who paid off their loans already, so I just don't see the sense in being shackled to inter...
