Anyone else notice an increase of travelers asking how “not to be a tourist” on social media? I have never understood this fear of being seen as what you are (we’re all tourists when we’re traveling and cannot, by definition, be a local in a new place.) This whole “I am so much more sophisticated than those OTHER annoying tourists” attitude reeks of snobbism. EDIT to add that I do understand that many do not want to be seen as the stereo...
