LPT: When it’s super hot outside and your car heats up to become a oven, keep a little ice chest (no ice) in the car to use as a catch all for things to help them not get too hot. I began using a ice chest as a double insulated storage box in the vehicle to keep my sunglasses, gum, portable battery and some other stuff to not burn up while my car toasts out in the Texas Sun.
