LPT Request: Why specifically is the hospital requesting my bank statements when I'm applying for financial assistance? Should I adjust my spending some way to improve my chances of getting approved? I understand why they'd want my paystubs, because they want to know how much I make and determine whether I make too much money to qualify. But what specifically are they looking for when they're asking for a 30 day bank statement? Are they looking at how I spend my money? Edit: I'm in the US
