Why are low/mid-level hotels so wildly inconsistent? I’ve stayed in a Hampton that felt luxurious and another one that felt like a step above a motel. I’ve stayed in a super 8 that was very clean and one that gave me the creeps. Some La Quinta’s are very modern looking and some look like a rundown motel.
