Volatile high earning job or small retirement? Not sure if this should go in this sub, or a career focused sub. I am currently a medical provider in the national guard, va, and private. By being in the National Guard I get a $20k bonus annually and about $15k before taxes from drill and AT. I have 13 years in. At 20 years I would get a pension starting at age 58, which would be about $17,500...
