401K says Balance is 5K BUT it was sold to another company that says the balance is 1K
401K says Balance is 5K BUT it was sold to another company that says the balance is 1K As the title says, I have a 401K apparently from a job. I wasn't aware of it. But I got a letter saying the balance is 5.3K And I called them and they told me it was moved to another provider. That provider says the balance is 1K. What the heck is going on? Is there anything I can do here.
