LPT- Before you buy a boat, find out what you’ll have to pay for insurance. Especially if you’ve never owned one, the boat is more than 20 years old, it’s 10’ or bigger than you’ve owned before, it’s a wood boat or you plan on living aboard. Like everything else, rates are going up and insurers are less lenient.
