LPT: Want an Authentic Foreign Recipe? Translate the dishes name into its native language, google it, then translate the website of the recipe back to your own language. For example, I wanted to make authentic Mapo Tofu, but a lot of my search history has been Americanized. So I translated Mapo Tofu into “麻婆豆腐”, pasted that directly into the search bar, and found plenty of Chinese recipe websites. I found the one I liked, and translated it back into English, and the recipe tastes just like how mom made it!
