I send my girlfriend $1000 a month through Zelle to cover rent. Is this taxable? My girlfriend and I split rent in half. I had some issue setting up my account through the portal so I just Zelle her my half of the rent. It just dawned on me today that this might be a stupid idea since i'm basically sending her a monthly payment of 1k. How do we report this on our taxes. Do we report it at all?
