My wife just got a new job and I’m confused about how much we are actually going to make after taxes.
My wife just got a new job and I'm confused about how much we are actually going to make after taxes. She was making $65k and is now going to be making 80k a year. We file jointly and when I look at calculators online it seems to look like we're only going to be making $600 more a month? Is that right? Am I really just now learning how painful taxes can be or am I just looking at it wrong? *Edit: were in Michigan
