We watched The Lord of the Rings movies again over the past few weeks. How the F did Rings of Power turn out so bad? I mean damn just start with what Jackson's team did, aim for that quality of writing and cinematography and throw some money at it. All three movies cost about 400M USD in 2022 dollars (made about 10x that). ROP cost more than twice that. There are so many amazing shots in LOTR.
