HELOC interest rate is killing me - best course of action? Hi all, Looking for some advice on what to do with my 7.5% prime interest rate, on my $200k HELOC, which is $1k/month in interest. I currently have 12.5 years left on a 15 year 2% fixed rate mortgage, with a large amount of equity. Would rather not touch my brokerage investment funds. I do have a 401k, but probably wouldn't want to take a loan ...
