Why do they need to scan my boarding pass or my passport when I buy stuff from the duty free market? I’m confused as to what information exactly they’re looking for? Apparently I wouldn’t make it to the point of buying stuff at the duty free market without checking in and going through the TSA. Who have access to the information they gather from my boarding pass?
