How do you deal when vacations cost way more than expected? Do you just dramatically over-save? Took my first post-grad vacation to central america. Threw $1.2k into the "vacation" savings bucket, and spent exactly that on the vacation itself. And then I had rental car issues. And then flight issues, where I had to buy another flight back (weather = missed connection, airline couldn't get me back for three more days). Two last-minute night...
