DoF tips beginner Beginner film photographer. I shoot a canon ae 1 with a 50mm 1.4 prime and have been struggling to find situations where I can crank down the aperture. I’m shooting BW iso 400 film and outside, anything beyond f5.6 seems underexposed. But from my understanding with a 50mm, you need around f11 and downwards to starting get a proper deep DoF. Any...
