Is it a bad idea to use dark wood in the desert?
Is it a bad idea to use dark wood in the desert? A lot of the current designs I look up specifically for desert homes use light wood tones. I don't know if this is a trend or if this is a general rule to match home furniture to the wood tones outside. The wood tone outside are dull light ash brown. So does having a traditional home with mahogany wood look off?
