Are procedurals like Chicago P.D., Special Victims Unit, and Blue Bloods considered drama or melodrama? I'm trying to determine the reason why I don't like these shows as much as I used to. I know my tastes have changed as well, but it's not just that. I wonder if maybe the style of character acting is also pushing me toward other things.
