My car needs $6000+ in repairs... fix or get a new car? My 2007 Nissan Xterra has a faulty transmission due to radiator (which was previously fixed in 2020) leaking into it, and will need a whole new transmission, estimated to be about $6000+ in repairs. It is currently at 200k miles, and I have had it since about 2010, bought for about $12k. This car is super reliable, hasn't really had major issue...
