Workplace may layoff early next year, steps to prepare? I am sole earner for a family of three, child age 3 (high functioning asd / 'high needs'). I work in data science for a large tech consulting firm. If company doesn’t hit its projection by the end of the year, they’ll likely be doing layoffs. They are optimistic, but anything can happen I guess. If so, that will be the second round in two years....
