Medical coverage between jobs. Options besides cobra? My contact of employment with my company came to an end at the end of July. Luckily I landed an even better job with better benefits and started last week, but benefits don't kick in until August 1st. For the 30 day gap of coverage it was easy enough to just reschedule appointments, but had a 20 week ultrasound appointment that we can put off. ...
